The Mercer Carnegie Library Summer Reading Program is starting again soon! All ages are invited to take part in the reading program. Participants will read 5 books out of 8 categories at their reading level during the program to be elegible for reading prizes. To be eligible for the reading program prizes, participants must register at the library by June 1, 2013. |
| We also have several events that are free, open to the public and no registration is required to attend. |

The Friends of the Mercer Carnegie Library will be having its annual Rhubarb Fest Book Sale again this year! The sale will be downstairs in the library on June 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and June 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. |

The library is currently taking dax-deductible donations to raise funds for plans on a new addition to the building. This addition will not only increase the inner space of the library to more than twice the size, but will also include the necessary change of making the library handicap accessible. We are now at $35,000! |
